As legal counsel to M2E, David Warager volunteers his talents to advise the organization on all legal matters for  the organization.

 

David is currently Co-Head of Global Trade Legal Practice Group, Head of Western Hemisphere Supply Chain Finance Legal Team and Senior counsel to the Global Trade and Loan Product business within the JPMorgan Corporate and Investment Bank. This entails covering supply chain finance, traditional trade products, structured trade finance, electronic banking, outsourcing and insourcing initiatives, and anti-boycott and anti-tying compliance. Previously, he served as General Counsel for the JPMorgan Chase Vastera trade logistics business globally within the JPMorgan Global Trade organization from 2006 to 2012. Upon joining the bank, he was Counsel to the JPMorgan Treasury Services business covering core cash products, electronic banking products and outsourcing projects from 2001 to 2006.  David was a Member of the Intellectual Property and Technology Legal Practice Group from 1989 to 2001. Before his career at JPMorgan, he served as a county prosecutor in Westchester County, between 1985 and 1989. 

 

Since 1989, he has honorably served in the New York Guard -NY State Division of Military & Naval Affairs, most recently and notably as Brigadier General.
